How do i warm up/stretch my body before a 2 mile jog?

  1. start out jogging very slow or walking, then stretch, then jog slowly for a few minutes.  after 5-10 minutes, begin running faster.  after, do 5-10 minutes of slow jogging.  finish off your run by walking around a little, then stretch.


  2. Stretch out your hamstrings by bending over, keeping your legs straight and touching the floor (or your toes).  You could also do a few squats before the jog also.  Dont forget to stretch after you jog also, your muscles are warmed up and are able to stretch giving you more strength for the next time you jog.
