How do i wash a coat with fur on the hood, and not have the fur be ruined?

I git a really cool coat with fur on it and i dont want the furr to get ruined when i dry it :[

  1. If you read the washing label inside the coat, that should help. But I am sure if you handwash it, it should be fine.  


  2. You can brush out the fur before you AIR dry the jacket

    Air drying will not ruin the fur.

  3. I herd that you can put like some kind of plastic (like what plastic bags are made) on it so that when you wash it, it doesnt get ruined or even wet???????.......

  4. You can't "wash" this coat.  It has to be dry cleaned.  

    If the coat is dirty in some places (the cuffs or front edges), you can use a spot cleaner, but don't have to wash the whole coat. You can find this kind of cleaner at any Wal-mart or drug store in the section for laundry soaps and cleaners.
