How do i wash a tie dye shirt for the first time after dyeing it?

First run, use only cold water and a cup of white vinegar to set the dye - no soap.  Then if you want to be absolutely sure the dyes won't bleed, wash in cold water and Woolite.  If you notice no color bleeding after that, it should be safe to wash with regular detergent in the future.

Put it alone in the washer and wash it in cold water and hang it up to dry.

Wash it by itself in cold water only for the first time or two. It will help to make sure the colors are set in. Then once in warm water to see if it will run. After that you can wash it with the regular colored clothes.
