How do i wash my hair with my nose piercing??

Question

i just got my nose pierced and the guy told me not to get any soap on it...

but when i take a shower and wash my hair the shampoo is gonna run down my face...suggestions?

what i do is turn my back to the water and tilt my head back. all the soap runs down my back, not my face.

This may sound kind of silly but put some packaging tape over your nose when you are washing your hair, that might help.

don't worry about it...you gotta wash your hair!  what did they tell you to clean the piercing with?  My piercer recommended dial soap.  Hmm.

Dont worry about it, just tip your head back a little when you rinse it and stand with the shower hitting your back.

If a little soap get on it, its not a big deal.

Remove the nose piercing. If it's still healing then don't bother showering. If you HAVE to then tilt back your head the whole time.

You can either lean your head back when you are washing your hair or you can have someone wash it for you. That's the best feeling :)

you can wash it just make sure you use hydrogen peroxide after words on it

Tilt your head back. Or I suppose you could purchase one of those cups you can use to pour water on babies in the bath without getting anything in their eyes. But a little soap won't hurt-- it didn't hurt my navel ring, anyway.

I always manage to keep the shampoo off my face when washing my hair- maybe try tilting your head back a little?  Or you could put a washcloth over your face.

I dont know much about it, but I'd suggest putting a plaster over the peircing for the showering, or washing your hair in the sink so your face doesnt get wet. Or just go back and ask the guy who peirced your nose about it.

I got my nose done a few weeks ago, I had absolutely no problem in the shower. If I did get some soap it was no big deal, I just dabbed it with Witch Hazel and it was all clean and it has healed really well! Even though I knocked it almost clean out TWICE (ouch)

Its ok for the water to run down on it or soap, just make sure to carefully and gently rinse the area throughly with fresh water and nonscented soap, also soaking it with warm sea salt water after your done washing your hair is helpful too. Good Luck

When you apply the shampoo and conditioner, rub it in your hair like a ponytail and tilt your head back. Then when you rinse, keep tilting you hair back and rubbing your hair with the end of your finger tips. Hope i helped!
