How do i watch dvds on a xbox

i has a original xbox and my dvd player is broken and i need to see a movie and i think i have seen my friend play a dvd on his

You need to buy an Xbox DVD remote. You can get them at most game stores.

You need to get an extra accessory that plugs into one of the gaming ports.  It's a little black box about 2 inches high and maybe 2 inches across.  It also comes with a remote control for dvd play.  I got mine on Ebay, but they might sell them at GameCrazy or other gaming stores that carry Xbox.  I think I paid about $15 for mine, but it was well worth it.

you have to have the xbox dvd remote. it comes with a sensor that plugs into the controller port. it wont read the dvd unless the sensor is plugged in.
