How do i wipe my hard drive clean for an install of vista?

a friend installed a bootleg copy of vista basic... i bought home premium. how do i wipe the old copy and install the fresh one i bought?

During your installation, you delete the existing partition, reallocate it, and format it.

You will have to put the format the vista basic first then you will be able to install it. If you want more details on how to do it, IM me.

The setup for Vista should give you an option to either upgrade or install fresh. Select the install fresh.

i wouldnt do that because vista has a lot of problems and not that many people like it so there's really no point to install it anyway

re- format the hard drive, (NTFS) when you boot off the vista (premium) disc.
