How do i wipe out my dell laptop?

i have a dell insperon 6400 windows xp i have done this a few times before by pressing one of the F keys but i forget which one when you reboot my computer you press a certain key at the start up to wipe out everything you have put on your computer since the day you bought it anyone know what im talking about i need to know wich keys to press on start up thanks

try pressing crtl+F11 at start up

Hello,

Normally, the key your would press is F10 or F12 depending on wheather its HP,SONY.... Alternatively, use the recovery discs which came with your pc.
