How do i wire my cd player for my car?

I have a 1999 Chrysler Sebring Lxi, my frend gave me his cd player, I bought the wire harness for my car, when i got finished wiring the wire harness to the cd player and installed it in my car, i get no sound? I rewired everything, how can i fix this problem.

well if it powers on then recheck you wiring and also make sure your antenna wire is all the way in.  If it wont power on check you fuses.  also if it does power on some cd players have an option to turn on and off the internal amplifier so make sure its on

If your original radio was the Infinity system, then it has an external amp that nees to be triggered on by the radio. The factory harness should have a white wire that needs to be connected to the blue with white stripe wire from your new radio.
