How do i wire my dvd/video player to my hdtv?

Question

i can still watch my videos and dvds but i can't play tv through the vhs recorder (so i can't tape any shows)

any help?

So I take it you have a combo DVD/VCR with it's output connected to your HDTV.   You didn't mention whether you have a cable box or if the cable line is going straight into the TV.   If you have a cable box or satellite box, take it's output and connect it to the input of your DVD/VCR unit using RCA cables.  If you only have a cable line, connect that to your Antenna input on the DVD/VCR and use your VCR to change channels..

What's a VCR?, anywho, get a DVR.  That will solve all your problems
