  1. one things you gould do is go to crutchfield.com. theyll ehlp you. but what you need to do is get rid of that legacy amp. telling you from experience. theyll work good for a year or two and then they start messing up. i had a little 200 watt ran good then next thing i know da da da da da da is all i heard from the thing. then i had a 1000 4 channel. ran good then da da da da da. they sound good for a min then theyre junk.  experience. hope you got a good one but just lettin youknow ahead of time.

  2. Well lets start from the begining.  What you need to do is by yourself a 8 gauge amp kit.  Make sure you by a good one because their is a difference in quality of the wire.  A good 8 gauge amp kit will cost you about 35 to 60 bucks

Now we are going to start with running your wires for the amp.

    1.  You need to pull up all the panels on the floor of the drivers side.  They are easy if you tug on them a little bit they will just pop up.

    2.  You have to drill a hole through your firewall to run the power wire.  The best thing to use is a Uni bit or a drill bit made to go through metal.  Look under your dass for and open spot to drill then look under your hood and make sure if you drill their you wont be drilling through anything under the hood.  Then drill ur hole a little bigger than the 8 gauge wire untill you can see into your hood.  Make sure you drill from the inside of the car out

    3.  Your power wire should be 18 to 20 feet long.  Run the power wire through the whole you just drilled and then go around under the hook and pull it throw untill it reaches the batter.  Then tie it off new the batter so that it doesnt pull back through when your running your wire inside the car.  DO NOT HOOK THE POWER WIRE UP TO THE BATTERY YET.

    4.  Pull your deck Vr3 deck out of the dash.  On the CD Deck harness their should be a blue wire and or a blue with white wire.  One is antenna one is remote.

    5.  In the amp kit you should have a really long thin single wire.  Thats your remote.  Get a butt connector strip one end of the wire and then strip the extruding end of the blue with white wire on the back of the deck.  Take your but connector and crimp the end on the long slim wire and the blue with white wire on your harness together.  Thats your remote wire.  DO NOT CONNECT THE WIRE TO THE BLUE WIRE ON THE DECK.

    6.  Now take one end of your RCA jacks and plug them end to the RCA output on the back of the deck or the subwoofer output.

    7.  Look into the dash where your stereo site and find and open area where you deck goes and find and spot where you can see the floor underneeth the stearing wheel from the inside of the dash.  The run your remote wire and rca jacks through that spot down to the floor underneet the stearing wheel

    8.  Now put your cd deck back into its proper place in the dash and make sure its locked in.  YOU JUST FINISHED ALL THE HARD PARTS OF THE INTALL FOR A FIRST TIME INSTALL

    9.  take those wires you just ran down to the floor and run them underneeth the dash on the driver side over to the kick panel; zip tieing the wires up underneeth the dash to something every foot untill you reach the kickpanel.  KEEP THOSE WIRES AWAY FROM ALL MOVING PARTS

    10.  Now all your wires should be close to each other.  Your remote, RCA's, and power.  TAKE all three and run them behind the kick panel under the tucking them under the carpet if possible.

    11.  Remember all those panels you pulled up. Thats where all three of those wires are going to go all they way back to your trunk.  Run those wires down all the way to the back of your car in the slot wehere those panels go tucking them underneeth the carpet if possible *** you go.  MAKE SURE WHEN RUNNING THE WIRES THE PANELS WILL NOT OBSTRUCT THEM WHEN YOU PUT THEM BACK ON

    12.  Continue running those wires all the way untill you come to the back seat.  Now this is one part you will have to figure out on your own.  You need lift up the back seat and run those wires under it to the trunk wear they are not obstucted and they are not seen.  Then once you have all three wires in your trunk  you can put your back seet back down and line all the panles up with the wholes on the floor and gently tap them with the palm of your and untill they pop back down into place

    13.  Now time to wire up your subwoofer in the back.  your going to wire up your subwoofers in parellel so that will sit at 2 ohm stereo on the amp.

    14.  Take a piece of speaker wire about a food long and strip both ends.  Hook up on end into the positive on one coil then run the other end and hook it up to the positive on the other coil.  The take another piece of speaker wire and strip it at both ends and hook it up to the negative and run the other end to the negative on the oposite coil.  The cut your self a piece of speaker wire about 3 or 4 feet long strip both ends and just on one coil of the speaker hook it up to the positve and one to the negative.  Then run the other end of that wire down to the terminals on your box.  and hook the positve to the positive and the negative to the negative on the terminals.  Then place your woofer evenly in the box and s***w it down.  REPEAT STEP 14 FOR YOUR OTHER WOOFER.

    15.  Now take your amps place it in the trunk where you ran those wires.  Strip the power wire and the remot wire and hook up the power to the power terminal on the amp and hook up the remote to the remote terminal on your amp.  Then plug your RCA jacks into the RCA input on the amp.

    16.  In the amp kit you should have a 8 gauge wire bout a foot to three feet long.  If not you can just use the extra wire you have left from the power line.  This will be your ground

    17.  You have to strip on end of the wires and crimp and         I-loop connector onto it.  Then lift up a small part of carpet in your trunk and find a bare piece of metal on the trunk Floor.  What you have to do is get some sand paper or something course and sand off the paint in a spot the size of a quarter untill you see bare metal.  Take a self taping screq and mount the the side of the wire with the I-loop down to that spot you just sanded.  Make sure its secure and that wire doesnt move.  Use a second self tapping s***w if you have to, to secure it some more.  Then strip the other side of that wire and mount it to the ground hook up on the amp.  YOU'VE WIRED UP YOUR AMP

    18.  Now what you have to do is take your fuse block from the amp kit and hook it up to the power wire that you tied off close to the batter under the hood.  After you do that secure that wire to the positve terminal on your battery.  Then place your fuse inside of the fuse block.

    19.  Go and turn your car and when your deck powers up look in the trunk and see if you amp is lit up.  It should be on.  If it is on then you have seccesfully wired up your first amp.  IF IT IS NOT ON YOU HAVE TO START BACK AT STEP ONE AND TRACE YOUR STEPS TO SEE WHAT YOU DID WRONG.

    20.  put your subwoofer box in the trunk and run the speaker wires from the terminals on the box Channel one and 2 on the amp.  make sure you run positive to positve and negative to negative.  once you have done that turn your car back on put a CD in and turn the volume up a little more than half way.  DO NOT BRIDGE THE AMP.  THE IDIOTS THAT TELL YOU TO BRINDGE ARE STUPID.  YOU DONT WANT A 4 OHM BRIDGE YOU WANT A 2 OHM STEREO. BECAUSE THE AMP YOU HAVE IS KINDA CHEAP SORRY TO SAY AND IF YOU BRIDGE IT, IT MAY START TO OVER HEAT

    21.  Adjust the controls on the amp untill you get a nice clean sound.  I would sugest if youve never adjusted an amp before take it to someone that know how.

  4. go to     the12volt.com

    theyll explain..

    hope that helps

    =)

  5. Wire the subs exactly like this and bridge the amp if it isnt a mono amp already.

Then run the power to the battery, ground to a bare peice of metal, the remote and rca's to the headunit and your all good.
