I need to withdraw a large amount of money out of my checking account but i have never done it before. I always use my debit card or use the ATM but i went into the bank and they didn't have slips (like ones for savings accounts)

  1. Write out a personal check.

Pay to the order of:  ________CASH_______  $ 200.00

    ____________Two hundred twenty_____00/100 Dollars

    For____ Withdrawl____   ________(sign) ___________

Endorse the back and they'll also want some ID.

  2. if your bank does not have checking withdrawal slips, you can write the check out to yourself or to "cash" and the bank will cash it for you.....it seems kind of weird to write yourself a check, but it works.

  3. Write a check, payable to "Cash" and take it to the bank.

  4. wow, kids these days.

Most banks have gotten away from slips (at least the reputable ones) and everything is electronic.  Just go to the bank and ask someone.  I think of ALL the people on the internet, the teller at YOUR bank would know the best way to get money from your account...

  5. You can do cash back in most stores- or you can walk into the branch and fill out a withdrawl ticket

  6. they should have slips, that's weird, u should be able to go up to a teller and give them your atm card, or Acc# with proper ID and they should withdraw from checking for you, i know my husband always does it this way and he never has problems!!

    hope everything works out ok!!

  7. Write one of your checks out to "Cash" for whatever amount you need then submit that to the teller.

  8. Just ask a teller for assistance. They will need to see a photo ID to verify that you are the true holder of the acct and they will give you the money.

  9. You can write a check to yourself or Cash.  At my bank I have my checking and saving linked, but my ATM only allows $300 with-drawls.

  10. the only way to do so would be to write a check to yourself and cash it at your bank.

  11. You can write yourself a check, using your name as payee or write in Cash in that area...you would then have to sign your name to the back of the check and turn it in to the teller for cashing...however you should make sure they don't have a limit on what you can take out without notifying them...usually something over a couple thousand (you need to give them a heads up first...like a day in advance.) Ask your teller for a checking withdrawal slip....they may have some, but probably will tell you to use your own check...
