  1. It really depends on who is paying for the wedding.  Going by your wording, I assume both sides are chipping in.  Try something like......

    (Bride's) Parents of ....

    Chelsea Anne

    and

    Groom

    Son of (Groom's) Parents....

Also, www.mygatsby.com has a TON of wording layouts.

  2. Patricia and Michael Smith

invite you to celebrate the marriage of their daughter

    Christine Anne Smith

    to William John Jones

son of Roxanna and Robert Jones

    at 2:00 PM on 31 July 2008

    at St. Andrew's Catholic Church.

Reception to follow at 4:00 PM at Maple Country Club.

  3. Use the traditional wording -

    Chelsea Anne,

daughter of Michael and Patricia Smith,

    and

    Joe Cool,

son of Robert and Roxanna Jones,

request the honour of your presence....

  4. the answer is not so confusing.

    Mr. and Mrs. Michael Smith

request the honour of your presence

at the marriage of their daughter

    Ms. Bride

    and

    Mr. Groom

    son of

    Mr. and Mrs. Robert Richardson

on Saturday, the ninth of June

    two thousand and seventeen

    at two o'clock

    Holy Trinity Church

    123 Mockingbird Lane

    Morton, CA

there are many ways to word it depending on who is hosting (paying for) the wedding.  i suggest getting Emily Posts' wedding etiquette book.  it has traditional and modern adaptations of all things wedding.

PS. he is your fiance now, not bf !

    .

  5. Usually, the invite looks like this:

Mr. & Mrs. Parents of the Bride

                          and

Mr. & Mrs. Parents of the Groom

announce the marriage of their children

               Bride's first and middle names

                                and

               Groom's first and middle names

    on the date spelled out

    at time spelled out (o'clock)

    at site of ceremony

    reception to follow at:

  6. How about, "Chelsea Anne ________ and (Insert boyfriend's name here), together with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael _________ and Mr. and Mrs. Robert __________ invite you to share in their wedding celebration"?

  7. This is how I have mine worded...

    Laura Anne M*****

    and

    Shawn Michael J*****

have chosen to begin their new lives together

    in a private wedding ceremony

    on Saturday, October 24th, 2009

    They, along with their parents

    Robert & Cynthia M*****

    and Joseph J****** & Marlene K****

request your presence at a reception in their honor

    on Saturday, October 24th, 2009

    (etc etc etc....)

The way you have it worded seems a little strange, to me anyway... I would go with something similar to mine... Or do this...

    Finally the day has come

were two will now become one

    In Love, Happiness, and Life.

    Patricia and Michael (last name)

and Roxanna and Robert (last name)

announce the marriage of their children

    Chelsea Anne

    and

    (his name)

    etc etc etc...

    Hope this helps!

  8. Go to any search engine and type in 'wedding invitation wording'

several websites come up and will give you samples of wording that may work for you.  There are several types of invitations based on who is paying for the wedding or special circumstances you may not have thought of.  There are lots of suggestions out there.  We made our own invitations and used some ideas we liked from such websites.  I can't remember which particular one, you just have to scout it out.  Good luck and Congratulations.

  9. On my invitations I said

The Families of Jennifer Lynnette_______ and Travis Aaron________

Request the Pleasure of Your Company at the

    Marriage of their Children

It made it a whole lot easier and I wanted it to feel like the families were joining so thats why I worded it the way I did.

If you want any more info go to www.theknot.com and look up wedding invitation etiquette or wording and it'll give you plenty of suggestions
