How do i work out the volume of an oil tank.?

[1] By calculation:  go inside the tank,measure the width,height and length. Using formular ( for a cube ) V = L* W* H

For other sharp of tank,using other formular.

For an irregular sharp of tank,you need to know Calculous.

[2] By actual measure:

     Fill the tank with water,using a water meter in series with the water hose to measure the exact amount of water require to fill it up.
