I asked for a $15k increase due to a promotion to VP of global account sales in Dec of last year. My boss just informed me she has submitted an increase of $10k for Jan of this year. I did not receive a raise at the time of my promotion but was promised an increase in July during my annual raise time which the company changed to Jan. I want to respond requesting clarification of what portion of the $10k is for the promotion and what portion is for annual (18 month) raise?  Will promotion portion be retroactive to Dec or July?  When will I be up for next raise? When will she have confirmation of approval of raise?
