How do i write a character sketch?

Take your character and name a few traits about them (are they kind? curious?) but think deeply and have proof for when they showed these character traits. Then based on what your teacher wanted, you should take each trait and think of a symbol to represent them, (so angry might be fire) only you have to think deeply again (the deeper you think the better the result). Then, you draw the person as you see him/her, right about their overall traits. And then you draw each symbol, write what it represents and why you chose that symbol and when the character trait was demostrated.
