  1. It depends on what grade you're in and what the teacher wants. You want yours to be different from the rest or else it won't stick out. Try this:

    1. Tell it from the 3rd person (like, "Mary is a woman of talent and passion...blah blah blah") instead of the first person(as in, My name is Mary...")

    2. Describe your physical appearnce with similes and metaphors, but don't go overboard. Like this: "Mary's eyes are like stained glass; the hazel color flickers and changes in the light. Her hair is auburn, with a tint of honey. But her smile is what defines her physique. It burns with the fire of her inner joy. That joy is defined by her passion for music..." and then transition into a description about your personality (if that's what the teacher wants)

    3. Don't use cliches, and be complimentary of yourself, but not so much so that you sound like you're in love with yourself. Like this: "Mary's love of music is outshined by only one thing: carbs... A woman's worst enemy, and the foe of Mary's thighs"

    I hope this helps!

  2. Look in the mirror-what do you see?

Look inside yourself-what do you see??

    Puleeze...use your brain.

  3. Start at the beginning.  Go on until you reach the end, and then stop.      Seriously, though, think of things that define you.  Are you a sports person?  Do you like music?  Are you into art?  Start with the one major thing that defines you and build on that.  For example, I was always reading when I was a kid.  I would start my essay with:   All around me in the park are people walking dogs, listening to music, skateboarding, or laughing with friends.  In lie on the grass in a secluded area lost in my book.

Then just go on from there and describe yourself.
