How do i write a two weeks notice for a fast food restaurant?

Find out first if they require written or verbal notice. Usually food places are verbal. Its nice that you are even giving a notice. Good job.:)

I applaud your integrity. While many people here say just tell them, written is the proper way and you should always do so.   Simple letter.  

Example:

Dear ___________________(Insert manager name)

Thank you for providing me the opportunity to work for _____________(insert co name). It has been a valuable learning experience and I appreciate it as I have learned much and matured from it.  However, I need to tender my two week notice as ______________(insert date) will be the last day I am available for work.  Again, Thank you.

Sincerely,

This should definately gaurantee an excellent reference when you apply for another job.  You always want past employers happy when you leave. While it may not have been te bes, never make it seem that way. Always be grateful. You never know when you ma need a good reference or job agiain.

Again, please do not do verbally.

I second mortiicia's suggestion. Having resigned a few positions in the past, I think your best approach is to be respectful and straightforward.
