I lost my job at the movies theater in Ga because I was accused of threatening someone but it came back that i didn't threatening the other employee. I just cursed him out and they thought my behavior was unprofessional. My manager told me I can write an letter of appeal but I dunno how and where to start with it.

  1. Why would you WANT a job back where you were fired? The best advice is to learn from the experience and move on, even if you don't THINK you were wrong. You were. This is what people mean when they say "developing people skills."

But if you must, and letter of appeal would have to start with an admission that you were wrong and an apology to both the company and employee. That's the "professional" way to approach the problem.

  2. If you cuss someone out at your place of work I highly doubt you will get that job back.  That IS unprofessional and it doesn't matter how much the employee deserved it.  When you get your next job, try to remember how much you need it when someone pisses you off and don't let them get to you.  Ignore them if you have to.  I have had plenty of times in my life where I was two seconds away from cussing out a customer but I didn't because I realized that my financial security means so much more to me than they ever will.  Good luck with your temper!
