  1. They take their food(or just eat them) , they take their habitat...

    in fact nonnatives threaten more than 1/2 of the 1260 endangered species in the US(thought i think we need to add more to the list) and they are blamed for about 2/3 of all fish extinctions in the US....

    ... just look up kudzu, argentina fire ant, zebra mussel, sea lamprey, or formosan termite

Invasive species can harm endangered species in any number of ways:  they can eat them; compete with them for food; compete with them for habitat; change their habitat; or expose them to new diseases, just to name a few.  For example, Hawai'i is home to some of the worlds rarest and most unique bird species, and invasive species are considered one of the most serious threats to these birds.  Feral pigs and rats destroy birds nests and kill chicks; invasive plants destroy habitat; and invasive mosquitoes brought new diseases into the islands that have decimated bird populations.

  3. They always up in the endangered species kool-aid and they dont even know the flavor.
