  1. paper route

  2. They cant unless doing odd jobs. Child Labor Law. But if you are 14 which i am i work at mcdonalds and its the ONLY place that has ever hired someone 14 years old.

  3. legally u cant work not in missouri anyway

  4. I believe you have to be 15 and a half to be able to work for a company.  If one of your friends parents or your parents have their own business you can work for them.  You can start a yard care business, mowing, landscaping things like that.  If you don't know much about landscaping goto the library or online and get some information.

  5. mow grass

  6. i like that ya'll are attempting to become more independent..some of the answers made me laugh though..your far from being baby's..anyway any fast food place is willing to hire your age group..though is tough..people are rude when it comes to their food! there is always the malls to..grab a newspaper and make some calls.

  7. dude why would you get a Summer job those are your only 3 months of freedom but if you want a job cut grass for people

  8. Tell your parents you are interested in doing extra household chores, to earn extra $$.  Call grandparents, aunts/uncles and tell them the same thing.  Maybe they have a lawn you could mow, windows you could wash, or a side-yard full of junk you could clean for them.

Honestly, with child labor laws, you won't be able to find real "employment".  So doing odd-jobs is really all you have.  Maybe ask your parents if you could do a newspaper route as well.  This would be as much of a chore for them as it would be for you (do you want to take up at 4:30am every day to throw papers?), so make sure you have their support.

  9. you can rake up the leaves, mow the lawn, take out the garbages by the road so the garbage people can pick it up. etc good luck

  10. They can babysit, but thats about it. 14 & up can get a permit from their local high school, but thats about it. Sorry.

  11. Well, you have some suggestions.  You could wash people's cars, if you live in a city area and are able, you could run errands.  The best prospect would be if you knew someone with a business, they will often hire you for small jobs, like answering the phone during lunch or cleaning the store to get ready for an inspection.  In the meantime, look for things you can do at home.  Can you bake pies for a local restaurant?  Are there any crafts you can make and sell at a flea market?  A 9-yr-old near me grows vegetables and sells them at a roadside stand.  He has already saved enough to buy his first used car when he turns 16.  Always keep your eyes open for an opportunity and save at least 20% of everything you make.  You will be wealthy by the time you get out of college.

  12. I think that is just weird.

You guys are still baby's what  do you need jobs for?
