How do l get the smell out of my wool doona?

I have a new wool doona that smells!!! It seriously stinks!!

The cover is cotton, and the fill is wool.

Does anyone know how to get the smell out?

Wash it in the machine it will not hurt it do on woolen cycle and use a good quality washing detergent and a quality fabric softener of which ever fragrance You may like. I do mine this way all the time.Hang it on the clothes line in the sunshine and dry it.That's too easy.

hang it outside the fresh air will get it out.

i usually use vinegar 1/4 cup to load of laundary and take the smell out clothes and blankets

If you put some baking soda in with your detergent it helps take about odors.
