Its at Random i think Or some of them get to Pick infact i think All of them get to Pick a number if its Tooken they have to Pick another one Alot of numbers Like Babe ruths and such cant be Picked so yea But if some 1 Gets number 10 And another guy From another team gets number 10 Its fine So yea they pick them ^-^


  2. I'm pretty sure the player picks his own number, unless:

    *The number is already taken by someone on the 40-man roster (guys on the 40-man roster but not on the 25-man roster have jerseys waiting for them anyway) or by one of the coaches or the manager

    *The number is retired or the team is planning to retire it soon.

  3. Like everyone else, outside the Stadium....those guys selling loose joints !  Wait! Sorry, that's at a concert !

    Well they can't get a retired # but they can re-quest a # and can negotiate with another player for their #.....If not in any of above cases their assigned by mgt.
