you need to melt the wax in a double boiler ( a dry can within a larger pan with water in it) and melt some candle wax in it. then you should get some wick and dip it in the melted wax, then dip it in a can of cool water, repeat the process until you have a candle of the desired thickness. its fun!!

One way that you can make candles 'the old fashoined' way is to take crayons and melt them and then get some string. Take the string and dip it in the wax and pull it out. Wait about 5 seconds until the string starts to stiffen. Repeat this process until you have "Your very own handmade Candle!!!!"

Animal fat. I've made my own candles before using the fat/grease off meat that I cooked.

You take an empty coffee can, get some quality/thin rope, tie and end of it to a pen or pencil and prop that on the top of the empty coffee can.

Put the can in your freezer and let it freeze solid. Depending on how "clean" the fat/grease in your can is, the faster it will become a solid.

im not sure exactly what makes the wax but i was at this thing for a trip and we had like the string thing they light and we dipped it in and out of the wax till it formed a candle it took like 2 hours but it was really neat.

You take bunch of candles okay, that you put them in a pot without any strings and melt them. Then you take a candle string, tie it to a stick. Then you dip, raise and wait for it to harden, then dip, repeat. You just keep doing that until you got an old-fashion-made candle...plus the modern wax and candle string.
