Hi I'm a native Maltese.

Us females don't shave our hair.It's very rare to see a women bald here.Example of a common hairstyle,here: http://images.search.yahoo.com/images/vi...

Our males,sometimes shave it(though most aren't young who shave it) or most of our still young males (on the 20's,less or even on the 40's) have a hairstyle like this:http://www.flickr.com/photos/xnakk/69457... (more or like)

This is a very typical hairstyle here.But among the 'old male people'.I'm referring to those three Maltese old males on the photo.

im half maltese an half aussie, but my nan was full maltese before she died. but we both wore our hair cuts on our heads...

the men shave their heads with the maltese cross insigna.

and the women leave their hair long... they dont cut it!
