How do most Graduate students in the Humanities (anthropology, archeology, history, etc) Pay for school?

Loans? Grants? Working a lot? Thats their secret?

Again im an only child and my family pay .. but Im doing a double degree Law and a BA in Anthropology and International relations .. so I can still get a job and im not lazy im a waitress to save money to buy a house!

A combination of all the above, I took out loans, applied for and received several grants, worked as a private tutor, drove a cab, worked in a hospital. It was all worth it.

Happily for me, I live in Norway. I only pay $83 for 6 months. Live at home. No loans. Only child. Parents pay.

Pretty much all of the above.  We have to be pretty thrifty and crafty to afford tuition, books, rent, and the occasional night out at the bar.  We have master the ability pretty quickly or go insane.  It's a fun time in our lives.
