  1. it's called instinct.


  2. They go to nest building school along with their husbands who also like to help. In states where there are no public nest building schools and the birds are not wealthy enough to go to private nest building schools they have to rely on instinct. This is their natural built in ability they are born with.

  3. It is amazing.  And they don't learn it--it's a built in instinct; when it comes time to build, they just know.  Oh, and the males help.  So weird!  Why can't we do things like that?
