How do my husband and I improve our credit score to buy a house?

My credit score is 525 and my husbands is 550. how do we raise our credit score in the next year or so so we can buy a house.?

  1. Have you considered using one of those authorized user tradeline programs. They are very affordable and would get you well on your way to having your own credit. My mom used it and not only was able to open other accounts, but her score jumped 51 points. Check out the free evaluation form at www.totaldebtsolutionsllc.com They can help.  You need a 580 score to get FHA loans I believe so you might need 2 tradelines.  Good luck!


  2. i do not know how much your score can be rasied but this will defeinitely help you out. i went to http://offur.com/fixcredit , a totally free service that helps you raise your credit and create a plan to keep it up. its pretty helpful.

  3. To raise your credit score you need to do two things:

    1 - add positive things to your credit records.  Such as paying your bills on time!

    2 - Remove negative things from your records.  These may be mistakes made by the credit report companies or bills you haven’t paid!

I was having a lot of problems with my debt and my credit score was hooorrrrrrible so one of my friends showed me this site and they brought m back on th right track and helped m raise my score
