They travel by bus if the distance is not that far and they have a private planes for their teams i the distance is that far.

Teams do not usually travel by train.  They require a number of seats that probably wouldn't be available.  Nor could they get the privacy that they want.

One exception was immediately after the 9/11 attacks when, with many airplanes grounded, teams and other organizations occasionally took the train, when distances permitted.
