How do nursing homes take all af seniors money?

This is a large open question and certainly I wouldn't say that this is a true "statement of fact" . . .

However, there are costs (monthly) to staying in these facilities and depending upon what country you live in . . . there may be additional medical costs aside from the basic " room and board" costs of living there.

Because they are run by capitalist pigs. My mother had nearly 250,000 of her savings depleted. She was in the nursing home for 6 years and after the money ran out they basically dumped her on my doorstep. My mother and I hadn't spoken in 41 years but I still had to take care of her in her most difficult years for 12 years after they stole her money.
