How do olympic athletes interact at the games?

Question

what are ways that olympic athletes meet eachother? do most athletes stay within their own country's buildings and/or their own teammates? does each country eat seperately? do athletes (say, for example, a diver and a gymnast from the same country) spend any time together? does each country party on their own?

it makes me wonder when they say that the olympics is known for two things: sports, and s*x! i was just wondering how athletes actually meet eachother, esp when they don't do the same sport and they are on different countries.

It is alot like a college dorm. Everyone goes off to different classes but at the end of the day they are all back in the same building but is is also like a hotel becuase it is a brief stay.

they all live with each other at the olympic village... just think of it as a hotel...
