  1. The typical american family has only so much money to spend.  Every dollar spent online is a dollar that can no longer be spent in a regular store front.

  2. You want an "answear"?   Well..   h**l!   (how's that?)

Anyway, online stores can draw customers away from "bricks & mortar" businesses, as well as subjecting them to non-buying traffic from people wanting to see and hold an item, who will then go and buy it online.    Some retailers are operating both online and walk-in stores in order to capture both sources of business.

  3. Good question.  There are a few things to consider.  First, people decide purchases online.  They research products on Google; they determine your credibility from your website.  Second, many purchases are made online.  From my own observation, this next generation desires instant online gratification; if you don't provide the products on line, you might lose their business to an e-commerce competitor.  I've listed a few studies for further reading.  The last hyperlink is my company address.
