  1. in osmosis the the fluids move through a semipermeable membrane from high concentration to low concentration resulting in dynamic equilibrium (the concentrations are totally equal)

    but in dialysis molecules or fluid transport through a semipermeable membrane that seperates the larger molecules from the smaller molecules through selective diffusion.(ex- dye in a fluid will diffuse into starch in dialysis tubing, but te starch will not diffuse out b/c the molecules are too big)...hope i was of some help
