Ima Pentecostal and ive only ever known how they deal with deliverance and healing and restoration.

But do other denominations deal with these things also, and if so how?

My question is not to put down but rather to get understanding of other denominations.Although we are all one in Christ. If we believe in the whole Bible

I look foward to hearing your answers!

  1. We have in Christianity this utterly ridiculous situation where Jesus taught us to obtain our needs directly from God, but those who would control Christian religion, and dictste to church members what to believe and what they can ask God for, tell us that Jesus is doing something different today.

A pentecostal pastor (Redeemed Church) I know- he is my superior at work- downloads and listens to John MacArthur in the office. forcing us to all listen to his drivel. I dropped hints, asking him to do some research on who this fellow is. Finally, I had to tell him, "Don't you know that this man is an anti-Pentecostal Evangelcal minister, who wrote a book against what you believe in?"

In one sermon, he told how over the course of two years, he convinced a married couple that it was The Will of God that the wife suffer and die from cancer. Even I know that these hypocrites avail themselves of every medical sorcerous (Greek for "sorcery" is "pharmacea") technique available in order to combat "The Will of God."

They will denounce you as a heretic if you suggest that you have the right to pray for your healing and expect to obtain it, and that God has no option to refuse, if you ave done everything you are supposed to (like praying for others who are in need of healing, not just yourself.

This Pentecostal pastor allegedly converted from Islam.

If this is as fake as Paul's supposed conversion, which all the functionally illiterate Christians believe in, not having the comprehensive ability to compare Paul's teachings with Jesus' Words, then one would expect him to be engaged in digging up doctrines that would disable and confuse Christians.

How do you train a soldier to fight and defeat the Enemy (i.e. Sickness; Disease; Poverty; Weak Intellect; Misfortune; Devil Possession; Death), then after the first hundred years of this war, you tell your soldiers,

"It is no longer My Will that you overcome The Enemy!

I want you to bend over, stick your head in the ground,

and I will give you GRACE TO BEAR

whatsoever he decides to do to you!"

Christianity is sidetracked from following Jesus, who died for them, to following people who claim to have been his followers, and a murderer who killed as many as five hundred Brethren who met Jesus after his Resurrection, and would not cooperate with the Sanhedrin like the 12 Traitors, who all agreed not to spread Jesus' original teachings- the real Gospel.

There are Six Levels of Existence within a Universe:

    1. Beliefs; 2. Thoughts; 3. Words; 4. Physical Actions; 5. Postulates; 6. Total Understanding.

All Christians have time to find God on every one of them.

Only by acknowledging The True Will of God on every one of them can we achieve our full Human birthright, and the stature of a true Child of God.

  2. Deliverance as in demon posession ??? if that was what you meant, in our church the possessed person is taken from the crowd so satan does not get an audience and to another room and then quietly as possible, the demon is prayed out of the person, there is no need for all this snashing of teeth and all that other garbage.

As for healing, one of the healers will put his hands on the side of the head, so no one can claim he pushed them down, and in worship we always hope someone will get healed. I saw someone born with crossed eyes once go for prayer and they were straightened.

  3. It depends on the denomination. A lot of the more conservative, older groups will just say that all of that is psychological problems. Others will quote that thing about "being a new creature" at you, like if you have a problem that didn't vanish the moment you converted, it's your fault. Or they will accuse you of a lack of faith.

I have been a part of both Pentecostal and conservative groups. I have my own opinion and I have seen the power of God in my own life for healing and deliverance to the point that I don't "do" labels anymore.
