  1. earn your own money

  2. try making a deal with them

  3. Explain that you really want a pet, and that you are responsible enough to take care of it.  Tell them you want to work to earn money for your ferret and it's supplies.  Make a list of how much money you will need - for the cage, bedding, food, toys, and the ferret.  Prove to them you are responsible enough.  Do odd jobs around the house - mow, clean the garage, etc. to earn money.

  4. You dont

  5. Well, you can keep asking and asking until they get really annoyed and let  you have one. Or,you could say that you would keep them in youe room take care of  them by yourself. Sorry I couldn't help much.

  6. oh ok i did this with my friend so she could get a kitten. write a long sweet letter to ur parents naming all the stuff that ferret will bring to ur life and y it would be important to u and at the end put a picture of the cutest ferret u can find.lol it works

  7. tell them this, please if you get a ferret you wont ever have to worry about cleaning up after it or taking it for a walk or feeding it or anything at all, just play with him every once and a while, and like most parents they will say yeah after a few weeks you will just forget about it and we will be takin care of it and tell them if that happens you can make me clean every room in this house all by myself for as long as you wont, even though you wont like doing that if you break your promise you have to make it sound like they are getting a good deal if you dont take care of it, if you dont like the sounds of the cleaning the house thing make another one up, good luck

  8. Well for starters, how about trying the following:

#1 Cleaning your room and making sure that it STAYS clean and tidy.

#2 Making sure that your homework is done and handed in on time.

#3 Sweep the floors in the living room and kitchen without your parents asking you to.

#4 Wash and/or dry the dishes.

#5 Do not fight and argue with your sisters & brothers.

#6 Eat what you are given and don't whine or make "yuck" faces when given it.

#7 Don't talk rudly to adults

#8 Always share with other kids.

#9 Go to bed when you are told to.

#10 Research the pet and breed you want to be 100% certain that it is the right one for you.

    # 11 Ask them about getting this new pet in a nice way and don't beg and whine about it.

If 100% sure that if you give those a try, they will see that you are serious about wanting to add a this pet to your life and family. :)

  9. be extreemly nice to them and do what they say for a week. then prove to them that you can take care of things.

  10. Well seeing as you've already got 4 cats and a dog, I'm guessing that they don't want a Ferret because it's more money and more effort.

Prove to them that you will be responsible for this Ferret i.e you will clean out its cage when needs be, feed it, pay it plenty of attention and pay for food etc.

If you are too young to get a job then I'm afraid it's too bad, I don't blame your parents if they don't want to fork out another couple of hundred pounds a year to keep a Ferret.

  11. Start by figuring out why they don't want to get you a ferret? Is it because of the money? Do you already have too many pets? Do you not care for your current pets properly?

Ferrets are NOT the pet for everyone. They're fairly high maintenance pets. They need shots. They're kind of like having a puppy. They get into EVERYTHING. They're very rambunctious and high energy animals. They need at least 4 hours of out-of-cage play time every single day. The more, the better. You must ferret-proof your house if you allow them to run around. You must block off all small holes, including under the refrigerator, and you must be sure all sliding drawers that your ferret could get into are secured.

They need a large cage and high quality food. They can be VERY expensive. I think it'd be a better idea for you to wait until you're out on your own, have a steady job, and can properly care for a ferret before getting one. You have lots of pets right now. Just take good care of your current pets and enjoy the companionship of a ferret later on in your life.

  12. Ask nicely then say I will work hard for it and I will pay a bit or do chores all day everyday!

If they say no ask them why? And say I will be responsible for it! If they keep saying no then snuggle up on the couch or where ever they are and cry and look sad and dont talk to anybody! Even if they still say no, they will feel sorry for you and wil make up for it some way! hope this helped!

  13. let them know your responsible..it may also help if you pay for all or most of the cost

  14. i dont know im still tryin to convince my moms. aint workin so well

  15. A ferret?

    Hmm, interesting.

Well it depends what their objections are.

  16. when money is involved, be responsible and get a job....

  17. prove to them you are responsible enough to take care of one. do your homework get good grades stay on curfue and dont make them mad. do random stuff to make them happy.

  18. Well I am sorry but I can't help you.  Parents are hard about pets, I want a turtle but that's not happening.  Good luck!

  19. research EVERYTHING you can about ferrets ((although my friend had two and they were soooo mean! and they need a lot of room..my friend's ferrets lived in half their basement and ran all over the place.)) but look up different cages and toys and start saving up your money.  i had to research a lot to get my ducks...but we got them and now my parents LOVE them! if they say no, then tell them that you have researched them and are willing to pay for it, and promise to do something they won't think you'll be able to do if you can get the ferret....good luck
