How do paranormal investigators not get scared of ghost???

I seen a million shows where they hear freaky c**p and they never want to leave or anything. I want to be one but I can't seem get the fear of ghosts

being scared is a state of mind. It is much easier to handle a situation when your with other people. Shows like most haunted are frauds. The real life investigating? Yes there are times your scared, and there are times you feel quite comfortable. Just depends on the situation and the people you are with.

Whats so scary about them? I've been around em here in my home and also around shadow people. Now they are scary.

Its not that you dont get scared you just learn to accept the fact that there is probably something there but its not going to harm you in any way so why be afraid of something that isnt going to hurt you it just wants help. You just have to accept what might come and not let it startle you just like watching horror movies you learn the signs before something happens.

If one keeps placing themselves into the same situation,then by sheer repititon you become used to it. I have been doing this over 20 years, and I very rarly get scared.

Because they want to see the ghosts. And so do I! I wouldn't get scared, promise that...almost...I'll run if it looks like the freaky kid from my school. But if not, then I'm going to stay and see what I get.

Actually, I have seen some shows on YouTube where they do get scared. It's just comes down to how well they can handle it. You'd think the more experienced hunters would have done it a hundred times before, so they've managed to deal with it.

I have been investigating the paranormal for 16 years now and every now and then I get taken by surprise by activity you do become desensitized to it but things happen that make you jump But we do this in search of the paranormal and leaving a situation is not a option we always work in pairs and we have an agreement that if a situation becomes to overwhelming to just put your head down and walk out of the area and find another investigator to switch out with we never tell each other of our personal experiences on an investigation until the investigation is completed we designate one person who will document personal experiences so if one of us experience a paranormal event we seek this person out and in privacy tell them of the experience and he or she documents the event when the investigation is complete the personal experiences are compared similar events being able to go to someone also helps take the shakes you might have experienced do not worry about the fear you get use to it and I think it fair to say that all investigators get rocked from time to time and that's OK pursue your interest

I've been frightened many times while on a hunt, but just kept working through it.  It helps knowing other people are there with you.  Let's face it, we're adrenaline junkies in a way; that fear of the unknown is what makes it so much more exciting.

Most times they are unafraid because they can go to 100 sites and not get anything, so they become desensitized to the pre-hype, but when something happens, they are just as scared as anyone else. Most of these people are in it to de-bunk it.

First of all there's too many things shown on TV,or any other

system of communication that are gimmicks,simply fake,

even more in these kind of topics;but...yes paranormal events

do exist and are studied and investigated by serious,dedicated,pro people,if you see things from that angle they have to see these facts in a very objective way,

so being scared or afraid is out of question,even more if

they don't even get to the point of proving so,Fear is a common sesation for us humans to react when facing the

"unknown realms",not for those trying to find the truth behind

mysterious phenomena(called now days paranormal},but

consider again that most things you see on TV related to

all of this are totally fake,big well created lies caught on

camera and produced with lots of tech-effects,so make

your own judgement and observe what's real and what is not.

And the other 10% think the ghost's are trying to communicate with them......

I'm not scared of ghosts,  live people are scary to me.  I have never seen a ghost packing an AK-47 and doing a drive by shooting!

I have seen plenty of them get freaked out.  The TAPS guys work themselves up into such a frenzy that I start thinking they actually believe the BS they're shoveling.
