  1. wow i guess you never been in philly. You trade in goods for cash. 99% of the time its stolen. Yeah they should be illegal. Its like a ghetto Ebay


  2. They pay send dope addicts out to steal and plunder good stuff then pay them next to nothing for whatever they haul back. not all pawn shops do this but almost all of them do. By doing this, they can underpay you for whatever you sell and not budge or negotiate a cheaper price.

  3. it depends on what part of the process you are asking about...  if you want to sell an item to them, they buy it, mark it up, and sell it to someone else for more than they gave you...  if you buying an item, your the person in the second half of that scenario...  if you want to get some money for something, but get it back later, you give it to them, they give you a bit of cash, (usually 20% of what they would hope to sell it for) and you generally have 30 days to give them back the money they gave you and an additional percentage to get the item back, if you default - don't pay them back - the item is theirs and they can sell it.
