How do people chug alcohol?

I've seen videos on youtube of people that actually can chug bottles of vodka, rum, etc. I know that the alcohol could actually just be water or apple juice or whatever. But i saw a few videos where they actually show the person cracking the seal and then they chug it. HOW THE h**l CAN THEY DO THAT????? Not only would it taste so bad that it would make you puke but it would probably give you alcohol poisoning! How? HOW I ASK YOU!!!!!

They just drink it really fast without stopping, plus they're just accustomed to it.

after a while of drinking your mouth goes numb

otherwise just take it and dont puke

Well, I have also seen a few youtube videos like this, and trust me, they end up pretty messed up.  One of them was some r****d chugging vodka, ended up puking in a classroom 20 minutes later.  Another one was some idiot who chugged a handle of vodka.  He atleast had the common sense to go puke afterwards... just a waste of $20.

I'm pretty sure, they open there lossens up there throats, so the alcohol just goes down there throat. With out really tasting it.
