  1. Everyone deals with loss differently.  It depends on that person.  Some take the religious route and feel that their loved ones are in a better place and out of pain, others go into deep depression.

My sister dealt  with it by systematicly robbing the estate of all moms prized possessions and money.  I guess for her money was the key.

No one of us is truely gone as long as there is still someone to remember us fondly or to share a kind thought.

Take things one day or even one minute at a time.  Eventually the pain will lessen.  Don't allow yourself to use drugs or alchohol to deaden the pain, it must be worked through on it's own.  Mindless, no thought tasks often help, like video games or cleaning, as they occupy your thoughts at least temporary.

  2. Everyone is different...me personally would break down in private...I would hold myself together for my family..but I'm sure if it's someone like my close family, I really don't know How I would react...like your statement, we never know how we will act....it would feel unreal to me for awhile, then after it's over, it could be a major nervous break down.

  3. Everyone deals with major losses differently.  Some bottle it up, some open a bottle.  Some cry, others lend support to others.  I myself usually cry for a few days, drink booze, and move on.

  4. They themselves die (commit suicide), starvation, depression, mute, cry all the time, with draw from society, self-harm, continue as normal, anger, it depends who you are on how you deal with things.
