How do people die from head on creashes. and please explain?

does it matter if you wer going less than 50. why are head on accidents so deadly. Does the inside of your body move.like your brain get disattached or something or your veins break.

Please explain to me about the crashes and what makes em deadly and how do people die from them

I was involved in a headon collision about 4 years ago. I was driving a semi, the other guy was driving a car. It was a 2 lane city street. The speed limit was 40mph. He came left of center asleep at the wheel 2am. He died because the engine was shoved into the passenger compartment up to his neck. Massive internal injuries. Under these circumstances, airbags and seatbelts won't help. He wasn't in any danger of being thrown from the car, or into the steering wheel (seatbelt usage). The airbag was punctured by all the metal and plastic, (totally worthless).  In my truck I banged my knee on the steering column. The passenger in the car also had internal injuries and various broken bones that took her 6 months to recover from. That's how people die from head on collisions.

severe concussions, also injuries to the spine, i know someone who passed away from a crash because he was wearing his seatbelt, which killed him.

concussion is a bruise in the brain and in an accident the brain gets bruised and possible bleeding in the brain

The car, and all your body are moving at a certain speed, you crash, car stops dead, body tries to continue moving but is stopped by seat belt! BUT not head! Head continues with forward momentum till is stopped abruptly by neck (rather like a hanging) head then springs backwards (elastic effect) and either crashed into top of seat and with shock crushes vertebrae (death) or stops suddenly again by neck, and breaks neck due to shock!!

Well you see. Life is all about struggles. there will be some things that you will not be able to control. and being hit by a car head on might be something that your going to have to face. You just need to shake yourself off and say no to drugs. unless your bored
