What would you like to be buried in - cardboard, wool, wood, woven willow or something completely different?

  1. I'd like to be cremated, personally, can't get much greener than that except maybe being composted or something.  Wow, that was a horrible mental image, sorry y'all.

  2. I quite like the idea of a woodland funeral, not really bothered want kind of box,I'll be dead.

  3. I wouldn't mind being buried in a simple wood casket.  Woven willow would be kind of cool.

Keep in mind that there are regulations that have to be followed, especially when cremated.  In the US, the bodies have to be in a container of some kind, but it wouldn't have to be an expensive one.

  4. I was at a funeral recently and we were saying afterwards what a waste of money and wood!  buying a coffin for it to be burnt.  Surely these could be provided by Crematorium for a small fee, used for the funeral & service.   Less to go into the incinerator and they could be used over and over.  The dead wont care!  And to be able then just to scatter the ashes where you would like them to be, within reason ;-)
