hahaha that sounds weird but oh well. I'm a vegetarian and I wondered how many other people here were. And how do non-veggies feel about it. I know random question but I'm bored. =)

  1. Honestly i believe there is no point to it.

Also i believe that people that say that are 'sometimes vegetarians' are just plain stupid. I mean how can you sometimes be vegetarian?

Doesnt that mean all non veggies are  sometimes vegetarian?

    >.<

  2. not gonna lie, i tend to say i hate vegetarians a lot. but i don't hate all vegetarians, just the ones who

    a) decide to cut meat out of their diet so they can be uber cool, but then don't change their diet at all and end up getting really unhealthy

    b) yell at me everytime i eat meat. i don't tell you what to eat, so stfu. basically the ones who force their opinions down other peoples throats, PETA types.

i think the vegetarians that aren't like that are great, i wish i could be one but not enough willpower.

  3. Im trying to become a vegetarian i have already elimnated beef and pork now i gotta get rid of chicken(free-range) and fish....vegetarians are ok i guess as long as they dont go on like a rampage and try to shove info down peoples throats about the slaughter of animals.........we all need to respect others choices wether we agree with them or not........

  4. its fine but u should really eat meat. just my opinion for the best way to get everything your body needs. if u are getting absolutely everything u need then its fine

  5. I vow to make my vegetarian friends eat meat at least once, but it's fine they actually got me to try a boca burger adn I liked em... but everyone needs a little meat :)

  6. I am fine with them as long as they don't try to run some moral trip on me or try to convert me. You eat what you want and I will eat what I want and we will all get along.

  7. I think its very good. And sweet towards the animals!!!

  8. I think that it's good that you have good morals and can be a vegetarian but at the same time i feel like even though your not eating the meat your not saving an animal because someone else is eating it.

But that's good for you :)

  9. As long as they don't preach to me about animal cruelty and blah blah blah. They're ok. Preaching to someone about an issue they don't care about is like trying to get someone to eat they're own p**p.

You should have posted this as a poll. You would have gotten a more varied collection of answers.

  10. My daughter is a vegetarian, she's 15 this month.  It irritates me a little when I have to make 2 separate meals, which happens sometimes but I want to respect what she believes so I just suck it up.  I really don't care whether someone is vegetarian or not...I'm more concerned in whether they are an @hole or not.  :)

  11. im a vegetarian

but i eat chiken and fish sometime

    its good

    no problms

  12. I'm kind of a half vegetarian. I only eat chicken, but not a lot. I think vegetarians are cool. Even though you don't get all the nutrients you might need, you can still take them in vitamin form. I think too many people eat meat, that we should spare animals.

  13. Well--I am vegitarian so I happen to be quite fond of them. I understand where the person who says "it doesn't make a difference" is coming from because the animal dies regardless of whether you eat it or not--however, the point is not necessarily making a difference or not, it's choosing to stand by your principles. If people don't stand by their own principles than the world will never change for the better. =)

  14. To each his/her own.  My sister is a vegetarian trying to head towards vegan.  I think her issue is more related to how animals are treated rather than health so more power to her.  She brings her own veggie burgers and hotdogs to cookouts so it's not like it's a pain to cook for her though I don't think a vegetarian meal every so often would kill any of us.

  15. i'm not a vegetarian but i feel they are doing a good thing but god did put things like fish and other animals on this earth for eating purposes.

  16. Well, I feel it is ok either way. If you dont want to eat meat then dont if you do then go ahead. But if the reason you call urself a veg is because u dont like meat you arent a veg u just dont like meat. People who are vegs are vegs for economical and animal loving reasons.

  17. I'm a non-vegan, but I have respect for those who don't eat meat as long as they don't try to push me to be the same.  I don't look down on people for it.  That would be silly.

  18. people have to stop saying it's so much healthier, because it's not at all. sure, greasy meat is bad, but you need the protein in meat. you can take all those pills, but it doesn't matter. whether you eat animals or not, the same amount of animals are getting killed. God intended for us to eat animals, it's what we call the food chain.

  19. Love you!

  20. for the most part, i've met people who are really understanding and won't annoy the h**l out of me for being a vegetarian.

then there's my conservative relatives who bug me, saying i don't get enough nutrients and that i should eat meat. they also assume that i'm unhealthy because of my vegetarianism when i look "tired and pale" (which is when i don't wear make-up.)

it really depends on how people are brought up and what they hear and read.

i like it best when vegetarians don't push their morals on non-veggies and non-veggies don't push their morals on veggies. everyone should be able to eat what they want without getting h**l for it.

  21. i'm a vegetarian too! i'm 16 and i've been a vegetarian since around 13 or 14 years old. I love it. I don't eat very much at all and I feel extremely healthy. Sometimes it's hard to get enough protein, but besides that, being a vegetarian seems like a very healthy lifestyle. I really can't even stand the smell of meat anymore lol. My friends both LOVE meat. They think it's crazy that i'm a vegetarian. They think that i'm not getting enough nutrition. But if you know what kind of foods to eat, then I think it can be very healthy.

  22. Idk.. they dont bother me.. i think its good. But i could never go without meat!.. I just want to know if not for food.. why else would God put animals(like cows and pigs.. u no the main food ones.. lol that sounds mean..) on this earth??

  23. I'm kind of a vegetarian cuz I barely eat meat but I will eat a taquito or salmon every once in a while.

  24. It depends. I think a lot of vegans especially don't get whatever vitamins are necessary to encourage a good mood. Every vegan I have ever met has a sour disposition and really nutty ideas. I do know some vegetarians that are really nice but they have fish and stuff for the nutrients. It could be the lack of dietary fat. Fats are important for hormone regulation, and hormone's are important for mood.

So maybe if the vegans ate more avacados they would be nicer.

My only question for them is do they do it because they love animals, or because they hate plants?

  25. Well I guess it particularily depends on the reason.

Honestly, while I dont really have anything against Vegetarians I dont understand the ones that do not eat it because they are against eating meat.

The whole eating another living vreature thing is kinda pointless to me. The same goes with Vegans, while I do protest against animal abuse, not eating from animals and the animal meat is just kinda...odd to me. Its been the way of nature since it started so why fight it?

However I have met people who do it for health reasons as well as people who simply just dont like the taste of some meats (which to me was absurd, but I was understanding about it).

I have no problem with these peopel or their reasons at all.

But then again this is all just my opinion, who am I to say that what someone else is doign is wrong, right?

  26. i think its very nice that you do it for the cause. but it wont stop people from killing them or treating animals  cruel.

i tryed to be a vegetarian but that didn't last to long =) lol

  27. I am vegan and I have a lot of respect for those who educate themselves and are aware of what they are putting into their bodies. For those who said that it doesn't make a difference, people are choosing veganism everyday through awareness, I should know, I am one of them.

Fact: Vegans are often healthier than meat eaters. For those who don't agree, try it, you'll feel the difference almost immediately. Don't allow yourself to be brainwashed any longer.

  28. ok, if ur a vegitarian then that means that ur against killing animals. Right? okay, so do u wear any leather, or anything with fur. that's the same thing. The human body was made to eat meat. That's why we have K-9 teeth.

  29. Great, just don't expect other people to accommodate you. Someone I know is a vegetarian, every time she eats something she has to announce it. I don't announce it every time I eat a hamburger. It's a little annoying.

  30. It's good to TRY to make a difference, but really it's not doing anything. Just like PETA, it's waste of time for all of em. If you don't wanna eat dead animals, that's ok, don't kare what people think of you, plenty of people  like Prince Fielder - (Pro Baseball player) are vegitarians, it's good to kare and all that but it dont make a difference because there are too much rednecks who say stuff like "I didn't work my way up the top of the food chain to eat vegetables". So do whatever YOU want, probably 9 out of 10 people think its perfectly fine.

  31. i think what vegatarians are doing is good, but won't ever change anything about how animals are treated. so if the animals are going to be killed why not make the death worth while and just eat it?
