  1. advertisement or maybe even Internet its almost pretty obvious to know things before others these days

  2. Unless you are a friend of the band...or on the production staff during the recording process....you'll have to use sources like these....

Find out what record label the artist is signed to and check the Record Label's page...they will have news releases and sometimes samples of new music...

If you have a friend who works at a radio station....they usually have access to new music anywhere from a week to 2 months before it is released to the general public...

Generally, unless you are somehow involved in the media....labels guard their "property" with some vigor...

I know that there are some websites that I use as music director for a radio station to get new music as soon as its released....but like I said...Unless you work for the media in some way....ya ain't gonna get the keys to the kingdom....if ya know what I mean.

  3. Many websites. One method I use when reading about artists I like on allmusic.com is to see the list of influences and followers of their style. It's led me to some very interesting music.

  4. I get mine through myspace.com but I listen christian music by the way a great group type in tree63 they rock.

  5. internet...imdb.com......wikipedia.com

    ????????????????????????????????????

  6. somewhere along the line between the recording studio and the store shelves, there's a leak. someone gets ahold of a cd or music files [legit or otherwise], and shares it with a friend, who shares it with ten friends, who shares it with more friends, who put it on file sharing services, who... you get the idea.

before you know it, everyone has all 14 tracks to an album that hasn't even been finalized.
