How do people forget to take their birth control if they have contant reminders running around their home?

Meaning their kids........I would not forget, have not forgot and will not forget about taking birth control when i already have a kid, how do people forget?

I've forgotten to take aspirin with a pounding headache on a hectic day.  People forget things, it happens.  Kids are not a constant reminder to take birth control, they are just kids.

This is a very good question and thank you for being honest enough to post this.

I could not have children. But before I found this out I was on the pill for over a decade and than my husband had a prodecure done vasectomy so we cant have kids. For us it was the best thing.

I have seen mothers and children on public assistant lines and it is heart breaking.

Having s*x is a responsibility and unless someone wishes to have a lot of kids birth control should be taken regularly.

Bear in mind that you can take birth control and still get pregnant nothing is fool proof.

I love kids a lot but because I could not have any for medical and financial reasons I respected my self not to put my self in a situation I may have not been able to handle.

People whose LIVES depend on taking drugs at the same time every day can't remember to take them.  It really is difficult to remember to do so unless you train yourself.

Seriously...that's what MAKES me forgot to take them!!! I used to be fairly intelligent, very organized and on top of things. Since having kids they have cut my mental capacity for thought and memory to mere fractions of what it once was. I'm supposed to take it at 10 PM and by then they are (in theory) in bed, asleep and I've chilled out for the night.

That said, we did opt for Baby #3 (who is on the way) but after this there will be some permanent measures taken on my husband's part (if ya get my snip...I mean drift...) to avoid the possibility of any more blessings in this house (and to alleviate my need to remember to take The Pill every night).

Hehe... when I had a toddler running around, I'd have forgotten my own head if it hadn't been attached.  You just wait...

When I had a pill to take, I remembered it because I took it when I brushed my teeth.  My teeth feel gross to me if I don't brush them, so I know whether I've done it or not.  I don't think I ever forgot a pill pre-baby, and wasn't on the pill post-baby.
