How do people i the post office know in which letter there is money?

  1. THey handle mail all day.  So it doesn't take long for them to spot a letter that feels really light but doens't have a big piece of paper in it, ie it's a check!  Pretty much anything that looks like a standard birthday card could be suspect too.

    THe best bet is to not send cash through the mail.  You are risking losing it and whatever it as in too!


  2. They also look for the welfare check people get (SSI) at the beginning of the month, Birthday cards, it's easy to see through a envelope all they have to do is hold it to the light.

    Best advise NO CASH money orders (filled in) or western union
