I mean, those people who live in the outback, how do they buy groceries or, for example, go to a post office or to the church?

Aren't there a few houses very very far from each other?

  1. they go to the shop like everybody else

  2. Depending on how far they live from the nearest town. They may travel be car if they do their shopping once a week. Some have light aircraft and their own landing strip so may go to a city when required. They can also get items delivered like TVs but only when a delivery truck is in their area. It all depends what they want and how for they are from the nearest town.
