How do people make a nice brown tan during their stay at the beach?

Question

Is there some kind of tanning lotion or some kind of butter that people use to make that nice tan? Or am I just imagining?

there is, but i cant remember the name. i got mine from being in the water. plus, when i burn, it turns to tan.

no theres no secret to it - its just their skin . if you have certain skin types your can tan easily or never tan at all - you can tan brown , yellow, and redish . it all depends on your skin type
