How do people make pictures of website sections?

Press PrtScn (Print Screen), then paste it into you image editor, then cuit out the stuff you don't want and save it.

You can use regular print screen option and edit (using paint or some other tool) to get the size/content you need. Or you can use commercial product like snagit (from http://www.techsmith.com/) and it will do the job just like you want ;-)

Snagit, print screen, all good, theres a great free one out there called Screen Print 32, ist hotkey based and works really pretty well.

First, open MS Paint, or another art program. Next find the key on your keyboard that says Print Screen or PrtScn.

Press Control + PrtScn.

Go to the paint program and hit control + V.

Use the eraser and erase anything you don't want. Thats it.

(You could also buy Snagit.)
