How do people make sports professional?

as in baseball and stuff like that. how did they make it professional? me and my buddies were goofin off one day and started throwing a tennis ball to each other and catching them in these cheap nets (you know like plastic butterfly nets that you get in the big sports package with bubbles, the velcro baseball thing.) so it was very intense and it took alot of skill to catch the tennis ball in there because we were throwing super fast so if you have info go ahead and answer and you could help make the next big pro sport!! it could be like soccer or basketball!!

Show it to other people if they like it they'll show it off to more people and soon it maybe the next big thing.

Simple! A sport becomes professional when people get paid to play it. This is usually done when others are willing to pay to watch.
