Most are done in Microsoft Word.  It's called text art.  You have to use symbols or letters, and type them in a specific order.

you make them by hand and you have a code on some of them but most of the time people that have no lives sit at their computers and just do them so idk like i have done one before and it took forever but on some of them you have a code so it all depends on which ones you look at
