Most people see New Zealand as part of Australia as the person above answered. I have met some people who think new zealand is a city in australia lol. Most australians think your the same as them and live the same culture, except in a colder enviroment. Although New Zealanders do get called sheep shaggers quite often

Unfortunately some think it's part of Australia. New Zealanders are quite successful. It's sad to know that some people who come to Australia forget about their NZ heritage, or that it's not even mentioned if they become successful.

Most people think it's very close to Australia and is very similar.....accent, heritage etc.

Totally wrong, I know, but during my travels.....it seemed to be the case.
